AIA has branches in Auckland and Christchurch and was founded in 1981. The world’s third largest insurer, they have paid over $409 million in claims; in the 2013/2014 year, $40.2 million was paid in New Zealand claims. They provide insurance solutions such as; life, health, income protection, disability, business and farmers insurance.

Their financial service network is New Zealand’s leading insurance provider to the Asian community, helping our migrant communities across New Zealand. They also have a team who specialise in customised insurance solutions for corporate and group customers and is the provider to one of the largest group insurance schemes in the country – the New Zealand Police.

Their credit rating is AA- (Standard and Poor’s) – this is a benchmark that the insurance company has been graded with.
