I have had a bit of a winter break at Broadbeach with one of my sporting passions that of Lawn Bowls at the Asia Pacific Championships played around 3 venues on the Gold Coast.

We had 19 countries participating along with our NZ team the “Black Jacks” I had the pleasure of doing commentary work on the NZ finals games with well known NZ commentator Brenton Vannisselroy (see pic below).

We filmed & commentated on the new live streaming platform of www.stuff.co.nz. A great way to bring free live action to a global audience who can watch the action on numerous devices including your TV uninterrupted commercial-free coverage.

The event is a build-up to the World Championships in 2020 & at the Asia Pacific event the NZ Black Jacks came away with 4 Gold Medals, 2 Silver Medals & 1 Bronze medal a great effort 7 medals from 8 events & I am looking forward to another international series in November another in February & then the World Championships in April/May a big live streaming year ahead on the bowls NZ live streaming Facebook link & the www.stuff.co.nz platform.
